Why the interest in B1?

High-dose thiamine (vitamin B1) is purported to have therapeutic value in Parkinson's by improving mitochondrial function, reducing oxidative stress, and enhancing energy production in neurons.

The theory is that B1 may allieviate motor symptoms, slow disease progression, and improve overall neurological health in individuals with Parkinsonism.

Seminar Series

Approximately monthly, usually on the 28th, Dr. Mischley teaches a course on a topic of particular interest to the Parkinson community.

After, there is a discussion with the opportunity to learn from your peers, meet other patients, and get some of your own questions answered.

Stay anonymous or not -- both options are available.

All sessions are recorded and available to Parkinson School participants.
