At 46, a diagnosis of young onset Parkinson's threatened to dim Keri’s spirit, yet Keri refused to yield. "Go big and live life while I can," became her creed, leading her to found Kind Bomb—an initiative born of personal joy, blossoming unexpectedly into a beacon of hope for others facing similar challenges.
Prior to Keri’s YOPD diagnosis, Keri embarked on a journey of sobriety, breaking free from the shackles of alcohol and shame to find clarity and purpose. Often, Keri can be heard saying how grateful and damn lucky she is to have found sobriety prior to PD!
Keri's life story, marked by its highs and lows, love and loss, triumphs and trials, is a testament to the power of resilience, the beauty of authenticity, and the transformative force of compassion. Through it all, she remains steadfast in her resolve to leave a legacy of love, hope, and advocacy, ensuring that her children remember her not just for the challenges she faced, but for the courage with which she confronted them.
